FORGET YOUR TROUBLES. AKA and see "Denis O'Keeffe's Favourite," "Denis O'Keeffe's Slide," "Up in the Morning Early." Irish, Slide (12/8 time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. In liner notes to Jackie Daly's "Many's a Wild Night," fiddler Máire O'Keefe says this tune is a great favorite of Maurice O'Keeffe who says he learned it from the playing of Dónal O'Connor, the great Brosna fiddle player now living in Limerick. The tune is sometimes called "Denis O'Keefe's" after the accordion player from Rathmore, but Paul de Grae says "Forget Your Troubles" is the name O'Keefe had for the tune[1].
