GLEN OGLE. AKA and see "Mrs. Johnston." Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. 'Glen Ogle' [1] derives from the Scots Gaelic Gleann Eagal, or 'valley of dread'. It is a deep valley of the River Ogle, referred to by Queen Victoria as 'Scotland's Kyber Pass'.
