KNOCKBRIDE. Irish, Reel. D Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddler and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988). The Reavy family lived mid-way between Knockbride and Maudabawn Chapels in County Cavan, according to Reavy's son Joe, who said "they had the luxury of attending both...and did."
