Source for notated version: fiddler John McKeown ( Castlecauldfield, County Tyrone) [Feldman & O'Doherty]. McKeown was taught by schoolteacher Master McDermott, and was one of the last sources for the 'old style' of playing in Tyrone (which, being inland and somewhat isolated, tended not to be visited often by collectors).
