MAYBELLE'S COMPLIMENTS TO HER BROTHER CAMERON. AKA - "Cameron Chisholm's Strathspey," "Compliments to Cameron Chisholm." Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Cape Breton pianist Maybelle Chisholm (Doyle) MacQueen in honor of her brother Cameron; both members of a family of fiddlers. It has long been a favorite strathspey of Cape Breton fiddlers.
