MRS. FORBES OF SHIVERS' FANCY. Scottish, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was first published in John Watlen's Celebrated Circus Tunes (Edinburgh, 1791). It was reprinted by Glasgow publisher James Aird--as, indeed, were most of the tunes from Watlen's collection, in his Selection of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, vol. 4 (1796).
