QUICK STEP 12th REGIMENT. English, March (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The 12th Regiment [1] [2] was first raised in 1685 as the "Duke of Norfolk's Regiment of Foot" raised from the East Anglian counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. The unit was called by the names of a succession of colonels until, in 1751, it was retitled the 12th Regiment of Foot. In 1782 the unit was given a county association as the 12th (the East Suffolk) Regiment of Foot.
