QUODLIBET. Scottish, Air (2/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Howe categorizes it a ‘Scotch Air’. A 3/8 time tune called "Quodlibet (Le)" was printed in Markordt's XII Contredances avec Figures et Accompagnement a 7 Instruments (Amsterdam, 1771), so the title, at least, may have Continental origins.
