TAYLOR'S QUICKSTEP [1]. AKA and see "Monongahela College," "Dandy Jim o' Caroline (2)" (Pa. floater). American, March (2/4 time). USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Bayard (1981) believes this tune was derived from the Irish tune that, in both jig and reel versions, is called "The Templehouse." "Taylor's March (1)" is probably named after the same source.
