CANDY KID. American, 'Straight Jig' (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. A 'straight jig' was a duple time tune meant as an accompaniment to a solo dance. 'Straight jig' differentiates it from the 6/8 time Irish jig.
