CASEY'S FIDDLE [1]. AKA and see "Basket of Oysters (1)," "Paddy the Weaver." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Casey's Fiddle" as a name for this tune, has long been known by the alternate titles and is idiosyncratic to the Harding collection. It is probably a fill-in for an Irish-sounding tune the editor of the volume had no name for.
