CLACHAN, THE. Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. A clachan is a small village containing a church. Although the term can be used generically, there exists a small village called Clachan in Kintyre, Scotland, anciently the sear of Clan Alasdair.
