HANDLE'S MINUET. AKA - "Handel's Minuet." English, Minuet (3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. The title indicates origins with the composer wikipedia:Georg_Friedrich_Handel (1685-1759), who composed several minuet movements as parts of larger works. The tune was entered into the large 1840 music manuscript collection of multi-instrumentalist John Rook, of Waverton, near Wigton, Cumbria, who may have had access to O'Farrell's collection, for it is note-for-note the same.
