HOMMAGE À MES AMIS MUSICIENS. AKA - "Francine Desjardins." French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by accordion player Philippe Bruneau, who titled the reel "Hommage à mes amis musiciens." However, the tune has been (mistakenly) disseminated under the title "Francine Desjardins," the name of a contemporary Quebec accordion player active for more than fifty years. Bruneau did compose a tune in her honor, "[[Hommage à Francine Desjardins]]," but it is not related to the present reel.
