JENNIE IN THE GARDEN. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Ky. In the repertoire of Uncle Bunt Stevens [1] (1879-1951), and reputedly one of his favorite tunes. Stephens recorded the tune in March, 1926, in New York for Columbia Records, but the side was unissued. A 'jenny' is a mule.
