Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. A version of "The Rising Sun" family of tunes, although with a different 'B' part. Michael Coleman famously recorded the tune as "Blackthorn Stick (4) (The)." Carl Hardebeck printed the tune under the similar title "Jolly Clareman (The)" in 1921.
