MISS CHARTER'S REEL. AKA - "Miss Charteris Reel." English, Reel (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody also appears in Longman and Broderip's Compleat Collection of 200 Favorite Country Dances (London, 1781, p. 61), and was entered into the 1780's music manuscript collection of musician Jeremiah Brown (Seabrook, N.H.).
