MOZART'S WALTZ [1]. English, Waltz. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABBC. The melody (as "Mozart's Waltz") was also entered into the c. 1780–1804 music manuscript copybook of fife player or violinist John Fife, who may have lived in Perthshire (although may also have been at sea for some time; there are references to battles in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean). There are several pieces named "Mozart's Waltz" in various musicians' manuscripts.
