MULBERRY GAP. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA; eastern Ky., Gilmer County Georgia. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. In the repertoire of Sam Avery and Sam Green, eastern Ky. Chesley Chancey's version is a banjo setting of a tune "handed down as a fiddle piece in his family". Another "Muberry Gap," a different tune, is a variant of "Cumberland Gap."
