PRINCE CHARLES' FAREWELL TO SCOTLAND. Scottish, (Slow) Air or March (6/8 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. Gow shifts to 2/4 time after the initial theme of the air version is stated in the first strain in 6/8 time. Bagpiper David Glen plays his march version entirely in 6/8 time.
