PRUSSIAN MARCH [2]. English, March (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "Prussian March" was also entered in the music copybook of Welsh fiddler John Thomas, dated 1752. The tune was published by John Walsh in Warlike Musick, Books I-IV, being a Choice Collection of Marches (1760), containing marches by St. Martini, Handel, Geminiani and other contemporary composers.
