ROVING JACK OF ALL TRADES. Irish, Air (4/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The song describes the rambles of a man who traveled through the principal towns of Ireland and worked at a different trade in every town.

In Lisburn he’s a weaver, a glazier in Lurgan town,
In Arma gh he’s a joiner, a smith in Portadown.
In Dungarvan he’s a fisherman and often ploughs the brine,
In Youghal a wool-comber, and makes his wool to shine.
