Source for notated version: - The Pigot Collection [Joyce]. John Edward Pigot (1822–1871) was an Irish music collector and lawyer from County Cork who studied for the Bar in London. There he met and befriended sculptor Patrick McDowell, from whom he obtained many tunes. He added to his collection by scouring the Irish in London.
