SLIEVE LUACHRA. Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Slieve Luachra—‘rushy mountain’—is a region along the Kerry/Cork border where Keegan’s daughter currently resides. Composed by fiddler and pianist Josephine Keegan (b. 1935), of Mullaghbawn, south County Armagh.
