Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Scottish/English versions appear under the title “Wonder Hornpipe (The),” with the composition usually attributed to Tyneside publican, fiddler, composer and sporting man wikipedia:James_Hill_(folk_musician) (c, 1811-1853), and printings predate O’Neill (e.g. Honeyman’s 1898 tutor), although perhaps not Ryan’s (1883) version “Tammany Ring.” See also the related “Bee's Wing (The).”
