SPRINGBANK HOUSE. Scottish, Strathspey (4/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by the renowned Aberdeenshire fiddler and composer biography:James_Scott_Skinner (1841-1927). There are a few Springbank Houses in Scotland, although perhaps Springbank House at 24 Dee Place, Aberdeen[1], is the one Skinner's title references.
- ↑ Aberdeen also has a Springbank Street and Springbank Terrace. There is a Springbank House at Fordoun, Laurencekirk, Kincardineshire. Springbank is also the name of a distillery perched on the edge of Campbeltown Loch towards the bottom of the Mull of Kintyre in the West of Scotland.
