STORNOWAY CASTLE. Scottish, Pipe Reel (4/4 time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Highland bagpiper Peter R. MacLeod Jr.[1] (1916-1972), son of famed pipe composer Peter R. MacLeod (1879-1965) who resided in his adult life in Glasgow. Peter Jr. spent some 20 years in southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe).
