WHAT SHALL I DO IF HE LEAVES ME? Irish, Slow Air (3/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Virginia Blankenhorn (Univ. of Edinburgh) points out the tune is in crosántacht meter, consisting of a six-stress line divided into three two-stress phrases, such as in the song "Cois an Ghaorthaidh." "The first two phrases, linked by aicill, contrast with the third phrase which ends in the main systemic rhyme"^[1].
