DONEGAL POLKA, THE. Irish, Polka. A tune composed by a Mr. Oliver, Bandmaster of the 'Donegal Milita Band', to act as an overture to O'Carolan's "Hawk of Ballyshannon," and dedicated to Lady Cecilia Conygham (published by Marcus Moses, it can be found in Dublin's Irish Traditional Music Archive) {Caoimhin Mac Aoid, 1994}.
