FARMER'S BARN, THE. English, Jig. England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody [1] appears in the 1770 music manuscript of Northumbrian musician William Vickers and seems unique to his collection. Unfortuntely, next to nothing is known about Vickers.
