III (Baltimore, 1839, No. 11, p. 6) as "The Fox Hunt." However, it appears at nearly the same time in the large music manuscript collections of multi-instrumentalist John Rook, of Waverton, near Wigton, Cumbria, under the title "Carlton House (2)," and in Lake District musician William Irwin's 1838 copybook.
