GATHERING OF THE CAMERONS. Scottish, Pipe Tune. Played by the pipers of the British 92nd Regiment (The Gordon Highlanders) at the Battle of Maya, 1813, which served to so innerve the Highlanders that they charged the French, routing them in a panic. (Winstock, 1970; p. 139).
