GLEANN COISE BINNE [1] (The Melodious Foot of the Glen). AKA and see "Give Us Another," "Miss Mulligan's Reel." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The melody is almost note-for-note the same as "Give Us Another," printed by O'Neill in Music of Ireland (1903). See also the closely related single reel setting Roche gives in his third volume (1927), "Gleann Coise Binne (2)." County Leitrim piper and fiddler biography:Stephen Grier entered a version of the tune in Book 2 of his large c. 1883 music manuscript collection as an untitled reel.
