GLENDA'S REEL. Canadian, Reel. Composed by fiddler Carl Elliot, born in 1928 in Pleasant Hills, Nova Scotia. As a teenager Elliot played fiddle and guitar for dances in a family band, along with his mother and brother. He has resided since the late 1940's in Ontario. The reel is named after his daughter.
