GOLD RING [4], THE. English, Jig (6/8 time). England, Northumberland. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The jig was also entered into the 1840 music manuscript collection of musician John Rook, of Waverton, Cumbria.
