GREY GOOSE [2], THE. AKA - "Lookit Yonder," "Old Grey Goose (The)." American, Song and Tune. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Originally a minstrel song, also known, in one form or another, by English morris dancers (Mike Yates). It has been attributed to A.Foit, and was published in Philadelphia in 1844, with the note that it was 'sung by Aken, the celebrated banjoist'.
