HAMLET WHERE MY LOVER DWELLS, THE (Am baile 'm beil mo leannan fein). Scottish, Slow Air (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "The editor never heard this air sung with any taste, but by his father; the words must have been different from those now current, as the air was rendered slow and plaintive, though frequently now sung in dancing time, which destroys it" (Fraser).
