HATTON OF BUCHROMB'S REEL. Scottish, Reel. F Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). "Hatton of Buchromb" was the name of a farm in the possession of a friend of Marshall's, Mr. Shearer. It was situated on a hillside above the River Fiddich, with views to Ben Aigan (Cowie, The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999).
