HAVE YOU BEEN AT CARRICK? (A Raib Tú ag an gCarraig). Irish, Slow Air (3/4 time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. See also O'Neill's variant "Have You Seen My Valentine?" (from Bunting). Alfred Moffat (Minstrelsy of Ireland, 1897) remarks: "The poor version of the melody alluded to in the note is in the first series of the Poets and Poetry of Munster, 1849, p. 72."

Source for notated version: "Enright" [O'Neill]. Paul de Grae finds that O'Neill's melody is not taken from Enright, but rather appears in O'Daly's Poets and Poetry of Munster (1850, 286), where the identical melody appears under the Irish title, albeit in dorian mode.

Printed sources: Moffat (Minstelsy of Ireland), 1897. O'Neill (Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies), 1903; No. 94, p. 17.
