HIGH UP ON TUG. Old-Time, Breakdown. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). A tune from the Sandy River region of West Virginia/Kentucky. It was in the repertoire of West Virginia fiddler Edden Hammons, who recorded the tune on a home disc recorder in 1947.
