HIGHEST HILL IN SLIGO, THE. Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by the late County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddler and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988) to commemorate fiddlers Michael Coleman and Lad O'Beirne, both originally neighbors from County Sligo who emigrated to New York. Coleman took lessons from Lad's father, Phillip.
