O'Farrell's "I'm Over Young to Marry Yet" was entered into the 1817 music manuscript collection of Patrick McGahon (Dungooley, County Louth, as "Never too Young to Marry Yet"), and into Book 1 (p. 46) of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork Church of Ireland cleric and uilleann piper wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist) (1828-1896). Similarly, a version of the reel (as "Over Young to Marry") was entered into Book 2 of the large c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim fiddler and piper biography:Stephen Grier (c. 1824-1894).
