IRISH. English, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Jamie Knowles believes this is a composition from North West England, and that Kershaw's title refers to the style of the piece and not the origin. It is vaguely evocative of O'Carolan.

Source for notated version: contained in the 19th century Joseph Kershaw Manuscript-Kershaw was a fiddle player who lived in the remote area of Slackcote, Saddleworth, North West England, who compiled his manuscript from 1820 onwards, according to Jamie Knowles [Kershaw].
