JACK I'LL TICKLE THEE. English, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was first printed in Charles and Samuel Thompson's third country dance collection (London, 1773). It was entered into the 1770 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian musician William Vickers [1] (about whom, unfortunately, little is known).
