AKA and see "Athens," "Blodgett's Reel," "Clogher Reel (The)," "Dublin Reel (1) (The)," "Dublin Lasses (3)," "Miss Daly's Reel," "Shuffle Reel (The)," "Twelve Locks (The)," "Twister )(The)," "Union Reel (The)," "Victor Wild," "Westmeath Hunt (The)." Irish, Reel. G Major ('A' and 'C' parts) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. A popular reel in County Donegal. Caoimhin Mac Aoidh (1994) lists this as one of the Donegal tunes played with long-bowed double stops, reminiscent of piping. Breathnach (1985) notes the version played in the key of 'C' or 'D' is called "Dublin Reel (1) (The)," and finds the alternate title "Dublin Lasses (3)" in County Leitrim and Kerry. In Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) it appears as "Miss Daly’s Reel."
