JEANNIE MAUCHLINE. AKA - "Jean Mauchline." Scottish, Pipe March (6/8 time). B Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). Composed by Pipe Major William Bryson. Bryson was a pipe teacher in Edinburgh, and a pipe maker for the Edinburgh firm of Hugh MacPherson Ltd. in the mid-20th century. He was also a prolific composer of music for the instrument, although "Jean Mauchline" is considered one of his best compositions.
