JESSE CAIN'S TUNE. American, Reel (cut or 2/4 time). USA, Missouri. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The reel comes from the playing of Missouri fiddler Jesse Cain, recorded in the field by Bob Christeson. Cain did not mention the title when he performed the tune, and it is not known elsewhere. Christeson suggests it was original with the fiddler, and gave it his name to identify it.
