JIG DUTCHMAN'S CORNER. AKA - "Dutchman's Corner Jig." American, Schottische. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Blackface minstrel Dan Emmett composed this tune, called "Dutchman's Corner" (the word 'jig' in the title refers to a solo stage dance, for which this was the vehicle). It appears in James Buckley's banjo tutor of 1860 [1], albeit without composer attribution.
