JOHNNIE'S MADE THE FIRE ON. English, Hornpipe. England, Northumberland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC'. Composed by Robert Whinham [1] (1814-1893), a musician, teacher, composer, dancing master and fiddler, originally from Morpeth. A two-part version of the tune appears in the Alnwick Pipers' Society Collection of Locally Composed Music, under the title "Jamie's Made the Fire On."
