MRS. HUBARD’S REEL. English, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. First printed in Longman and Broderip’s Compleat Collection of 200 Favorite Country Dances (London, 1781), as “Honorable Mrs. Hobart's Reel (The).” The melody also appears in the William Clarke music manuscript of 1779 (Lincoln) as “Mrs Hubard’s Reel” [1].
